Tyrone Williams, Jackie Clark & Tara Betts

Tyrone Williams teaches literature and theory at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the author of two books of poetry, c.c.(Krupskaya Books, 2002) and On Spec(Omnidawn Publishing, 2008). He also has several chapbooks out, including AAB (Slack Buddha Press, 2004), Futures, Elections (Dos Madres Press, 2004)and Musique Noir (Overhere Press, 2006). A new book of poems, the Hero Project of the Century, is forthcoming in 2009 from The Backwaters Press. He recently completed a manuscript of poetry commissioned by Atelos Books.



Jackie Clark is currently co-editor-in-chief for LIT magazine. She also curates Poets off Poetry at Coldfront, where poets write about what they've been listening to lately. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming from Coconut, Elimae, and Word For/Word. She lives in Jersey City.





Tara Betts
is the author of Arc and Hue. Tara is a Cave Canem fellow, a graduate of the New England College MFA Program. Her work appears in numerous anthologies and journals such as Ninth Letter, Callaloo, Hanging Loose, Gathering Ground, Bum Rush the Page, and both Spoken Word Revolution anthologies. She currently teaches at Rutgers University and leads community-based workshops.
